Drop-In anchors are female concrete anchors designed for anchoring into concrete. Drop the anchor into the predrilled hole in the concrete. Using a setting tool expands the anchor within the hole in the concrete. USES • RKGD Drop-In anchors should only be used in solid concrete. • Their main use is to insert threaded rod to suspend electrical cable trays, HVAC duct work and fire sprinkler pipe and heads. • They can be used in applications that require a flush mounted anchor and when a bolt needs to be inserted and removed. • A setting tool is required to set the anchor in the concrete. INSTALLATION • As with all female type anchors, the designated diameter of the RKGD Drop-In anchor refers to the side diameter of the anchor. • The outside diameter of the anchor is equal to the hole diameter required to be drilled in the concrete. • Minimum embedment for each diameter of RKGD Drop-In anchor is the length of the anchor. • The RKGD Drop-In Anchor requires the bottom of the hole to set the anchor. • First, drop the anchor in the hole with the threaded open end up towards the surface, then insert proper setting tool and hit with a hammer until the RKGD Drop-In anchor is fully set. HOLDING STRENGTH • The holding values of the RKGD Drop-In anchor are mainly dependent on the psi of the concrete and on the depth of embedment. Other factors include if steel rebar is in the concrete and on the full expansion of the RKGD Drop-In anchor. • The RKGD Drop-In anchor has sides that are smooth to allow for more surface area to be in contact with the concrete, thereby providing consistent holding values..

RKGD M8 MAGNETIC NUT SETTER

This is a MAGNETIC NUT SETTER, 8MM product from RKGD Product details Drive Size - Metric 8 mm Overall Length 65 mm Features : RKGD™ is a line of insert bits, settlers and fastening accessories built specifically for the demands of the professional contractor. Professionals require commercial duty bits, settlers and fastening accessories that can endure the force of high-volume screw driving applications with high torque impact drivers. Standard screwdriving bits are brittle and fit poorly into fasteners, and in applications with high torque impact drivers this losing combo quickly leads to broken bits. RKGD™ hits back with improved fitment and increased performance with high torque impact drivers. Precision machined (not forged) tips ensure full contact fit, while performance-optimized and heat-treated steel provides more flex and more durability than standard, brittle bits and settlers. • For fast and effective driving of hex head screw fixings • Magnetic nut driver provides convenient pick-up and retention of hex fasteners • Lobular design drives along flats to reduce rounding of hex fasteners • Flat edges at hex opening for full contact with flanged hex head screws • Calibrated heat treating process for added durability • Ideal for driving hex head nuts and self-Drilling screws in a wide variety of applications • For use with high torque impact drivers and driver-drills • Less maintenance • Longer life • Easy to use • Affordable costs • Highly demanded
